This week (vegetarian week) menu:-Russian Salad-Kumpir (Stuffed Baked Potato) -Spinach and Feta Turkish Gozleme-Zeytın Yaglı Yaprak Sarması (Grape Leaves Stuffed with Rice)- Makaroon-Also Baklava (will not demonstrate just for serving)

Third Cooking Class Pictures
The 3th of Turkish Cooking Classes was held on February 22nd, Saturday, at 5 pm. at ATFA. We had crepe Kebab (Manisa Kebab), Red Lentil Soup (Mercimek corbasi), Beet Salad with Yogurt (Yogurtlu Pancar), Fig Cake (Incirli Pasta), And we serve Sapsuka as a chef surprise. Guests enjoyed having hands-on experience with making Manisa kebab.

Third week ingredients..
Crepe Kebab (Manisa
Kebabı)
1.5 cup cooked and shredded chicken meat
1-pint mushrooms
1 small bell pepper, chopped in cubes
2 tomatos
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp tomato paste
Salt, oregano
Crepe:
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup flour
1 & ¼ cup milk
Kırmızı Mercemek Çorbası (Red Lentil soup)
1 medium onion, chopped
1 large potato, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup red lentil, washed and drained
6-7 cups hot water (you can add 1 cube of beef
bouillon)
1 tbsp salt
Pinch of dry
mint (optional)
Beet Salad with Yogurt (Yoğurtlu Şeker Pancer)
4 medium beets, steamed or boiled
1-cup yogurt
3 cloves garlic
3 Tbsp olive oil
salt
Fig Cake (Incir Pastası)
6 dried figs, soaked in water and chopped
1 cup walnuts, chopped
½ cup sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
Syrup: ½ cup boiling water, ½ cup sugar, 1 Tbsp instant coffee

Second Cooking Class Ingredients
- Izmir köftesi (Baked Meatballs and Potatoes)1 lb ground beef
½ cup vegetable oil
1 cup bread crumbs
1 cup parsley, finely chopped
1 large onion, finely chopped
salt, black pepper, dry mint, garlic powder to taste - Broccoli salad1 package frozen broccoli florets1 red bell pepper1 can red beans1 cucumber6 pickled cucumbers1 tomatoJuice of 1 lemonolive oilsalt
- Unlu Borek (Flour Pastry with Cheese)
3 medium sized potatoes, peeled and boiled
1 bowl of shredded feta cheese and ricotta cheese
1 stick butter, melted
3 Tbsp flour for sprinkling
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
- Bardakda Muhallebi (Turkish Milk Pudding in a Glass):1 stick butter1 cup flour1 liter milk1 cup sugar2 packets or 2 tsp vanilla powdermixed fruits and shredded coconut for garnish

First cooking class Ingredients
Pastry Kebab
(Mülföylu Canak Kebab)
Ingredients :
300 - 400 gr lamb
meat, cut in small chunks
3 tablespoon olive
oil
1 medium onion,
chopped
1 medium carrot
1 large potato
1 cup of green
peas, boiled
1 egg yolk
6 packets of frozen
pastry daugh
Salt, black pepper,
thyme, red pepper flakes
Bulgur Pilaf
1 cup bulgur wheat,
whole grain large, washed and drained
1 onion, chopped
1 tomato, diced
1 tsp tomato paste
(optional)
1 banana/green
pepper, chopped
2 tbsp butter/oil
2 cups hot chicken
stock/2 cups hot water and chicken bouillon
1 tsp salt to taste
(1/2 tsp if using chicken bouillon)
Shepherd Salad
(Çoban Salatasi)
2 tomatoes,
chopped
1 cucumber, chopped in cubes
1 small onion, chopped
1 green pepper,
chopped (optional)
½ cup feta cheese, shredded/crumbled
½ cup parsley,
