Second Cooking Class Ingredients


  1. Izmir köftesi (Baked Meatballs and Potatoes)
    1 lb ground beef
    ½ cup vegetable oil
    1 cup bread crumbs
    1 cup parsley, finely chopped
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    salt, black pepper, dry mint, garlic powder to taste
  2. Broccoli salad
    1 package frozen broccoli florets
    1 red bell pepper
    1 can red beans
    1 cucumber
    6 pickled cucumbers
    1 tomato
    Juice of 1 lemon
    olive oil
    salt
  1. Unlu Borek (Flour Pastry with Cheese)
            3 sheet of Turkish yufka dough
            3 medium sized potatoes, peeled and boiled
            1 bowl of shredded feta cheese and ricotta cheese
            1 stick butter, melted
            3 Tbsp flour for sprinkling
            1 tsp pepper
            1 tsp salt

  1. Bardakda Muhallebi (Turkish Milk Pudding in a Glass):
    1 stick butter
    1 cup flour
    1 liter milk
    1 cup sugar
    2 packets or 2 tsp vanilla powder
    mixed fruits and shredded coconut for garnish
